Seeing AI 2016 Prototype - A Microsoft research project

On the 24/11/17 Luca Rizzi's dad Lorenzo came in to talk to us about artificial intelligence and machines. His first question was, "Who is more intelligent machines or humans?". After a long discussion we still couldn't agree. He explained how machines now have the ability to learn. He also showed us a video about a blind man called Saqib Shaikh and how Microsoft technology has enabled him to understand what is going on around him. By wearing special glasses called Pivothead Smart Glasses. These glasses tell him what is going on around him by taking a picture and guiding him based on the data.
