Seapoint Rugby Blitz

On Wednesday the 4/10/17 6TH Class went to Seapoint Rugby Club for a rugby blitz. We were divided into two teams Leinster and Scarlets. When we arrived at Seapoint Rugby Club, Mr Smith led us to the middle of the pitch and we put on our boots. Then the organiser (Mark) arrived and we took two rugby balls. We divided into our teams and passed the ball around in a circle. We then did some more warm-ups and it began. Mark gathered all the local schools in a circle and explained all the rules and who would be playing who. Both Leinster and Scarlets didn’t have a game in the first round so we did more warm-ups until our second round match. In the end Leinster had won once and lost twice and Scarlets had won twice and drawn once. It was a very enjoyable experience and would definitely do it again.
